Israel has claimed that since the start of the Israel-Iran war, its forces have destroyed nearly 300 Iranian missile launchers, including systems linked to ballistic missiles and air defence networks. The announcement highlights the scale of the ongoing US-Iran-Israel military confrontation as air operations intensify across Iranian territory.
According to the Israeli Air Force, the primary focus of its strikes has been to weaken Iran’s missile launch capability and degrade its air defence systems. These attacks are part of a broader strategy aimed at limiting Tehran’s ability to conduct retaliatory missile strikes against Israel amid the escalating Middle East war crisis.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia said its defence forces intercepted and shot down nine Iranian drones that were heading toward its airspace. The interceptions underscore rising concerns that the widening conflict could spill into other Gulf states during the ongoing regional security escalation.
The United States has also confirmed the scale of its involvement. US Central Command chief General Brad Cooper stated that American forces have conducted strikes on nearly 2,000 targets in Iran, involving more than 50,000 troops and approximately 200 fighter jets. The operations reflect the expanding scope of the US-led military campaign in the Middle East.
