Tensions have widened further as Iran has accused Pakistan of permitting the United States to use its airspace for recent military operations targeting Iranian territory.

According to statements attributed to a senior commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Tehran believes that US aircraft may have transited through Pakistani airspace during coordinated strike missions. The allegation, if confirmed, could significantly complicate regional diplomacy and draw another neighboring country into the escalating crisis.

The IRGC official warned that if Pakistan is found to have facilitated such access, it “will not remain safe” and would face consequences. The remarks signal growing frustration in Tehran as it seeks to identify and respond to what it views as external support for US–Israeli military actions.

Pakistan has not immediately issued a detailed public response to the accusation. Analysts caution that airspace access claims are difficult to independently verify and often form part of broader strategic messaging during active conflicts.

The allegation adds a new geopolitical dimension to the conflict, raising concerns that the war could spill beyond the immediate Israel–US–Iran axis and further destabilize South Asia and the Gulf region.
