Isreal Iran Conflict: UK PM Approves US Use of Diego Garcia Base After Delay, Trump Expresses Disappointment

Amid the intensifying Israel US Iran war, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has granted the United States permission to use the strategic Diego Garcia military base in the Indian Ocean, though only after a reported delay.

Washington had sought immediate access to launch strikes on Iranian military and missile sites at the outset of the conflict. However, the UK approved the request nearly 48 hours later and limited its use strictly to targeting Iranian missile infrastructure.
